you need to wait until you can afford to care for a pet before you try to get one…you still need vet visits shots & food is also neccessary….don't be so selffish & cruel

Don't get any if you're broke. What if the dog you get is hit by a car? How are you going to pay for vet bills? Food bills? There is a saying "if you can't afford the vet, you can't afford the pet." Animals are not cheap, especially the "free" ones which will mostly likely have hundreds of dollars tacked onto it when you add up the cost it would be to vaccinate, spay/neuter, microchip.
Shelter/rescue animals, in comparison who do have an adoption fee, are generally much lower cost than a "free" one as everything that needs to be done, is included in the adoption fee. Essentially what you get is a "free" dog but with spay/neuter, etc, done at a lower cost.

If you're interested in adopting a dog but live too far away, there is often the option of having a dog transported to you/closer to you. Google "dog rescue transportation."

Dogs cost money to take care of.. if you are "broke" I dont think a dog would be a good idea.. they need food, vet care, monthly heartworm and flea preventative… You will easily spend about $100+ a month to properly care for a dog.
